the header is full 2 inch, all the way to the 90 that drops to the equalizer. It’s turned 45 but it is not trapping any water.

Are those risers bushed down at the outlets of the boiler?

yes and yes. It seems like if I goof something up, the demons and vipers are biting at my heels. But when somebody else does a goofy job, everything works out just fine.

"works" can have a lot of meanings. I wonder how close the output of that boiler is to the actual connected edr

It’s also piped wrong with the main tapped between the risers.

Had to make another quick climb up to install the correct rain cap as they sent the wrong diameter one.
All the ladders are put away. Job done!
Yesterday I removed our coal boiler and started the clean up of the area. Now I will get the new Weil-McClain into position and see how I want to position it and the indirect hot water tank.
