RE: "White" insulated line sets leaking. While I agree that it could be the actual copper - the problem is application and installation. Go to the installation instructions for the mini-split system to view their line set requirements, then go the line set manufacturer's requirements for correct sealing off the ends (zip ties, etc.) The manufacturer is Isoclima - the brand of line set is Isopolar. I am a homeowner afflicted with this problem with a contractor unwilling to admit that he used the wrong materials and didn't follow the manufacturers' instructions in either case. I'd be happy to name the contractor if and when he proves that he won't help me.0January 4
