The only way cold pressure can build is water getting in from a higher pressure source. If there is no domestic hot water coil or indirect hot water heater — it' the fill valve.

If you total max flow is 5.5gpm use 1" with a tee for both manifolds
3/4 is good for 4 gpm
1" is good for 8gpm

Unofficial, i hear 134a works well in r290 equipment.
Way different pressures temperatures.

if the threaded rod is long it will work.
if the split ring is over the insulation it will work.

I did use so-called black steel pipes (honestly I don't know why they call them that…they are just steel as far as I can tell)…what kind should I have used?
I have heard people say that the glass lined tanks are really more of a baked on enamel that is prone to cracking.
My favorite tank I've ever seen is the Rheem Marathon (plastic)—I wish they offered that as a heat pump unit.
