Paul just giving you heads up but Weil-McLain is back to two tappings. I like the Peerless it’s a very nice boiler however I’ve installed probably a few hundred EG series WMs so let’s just say I’m back to installing WM. I made a pros and cons list and to me the WM is the better boiler. The 1-1/2” skim tapping is right in the steam chest were on the 63 it’s 1-1/4” installed in the back of one section, I didn’t like the electrical hookup or tstat hookup on the transformer of the 63, WM you can install the gas line on either side, the 63 is only from the right. And the best is the 3/4 tapping on the top of the boiler that we use for the pressure gauges and controllers, on the 63 I’ve noticed the water seal is a lot dirtier because it’s at the water line.

Anyway just giving my opinion and my input.

Settled in, saw the sights, learned the territory, and most importantly: gave back.
