Hello I moved and took my Navien NR240 water heater with me. My old house was Natural Gas. New house is LP. Can an orface or something be changed? Thank you

Re: The case of the moving no heat call, this Friday's case
Happy Friday all. I wasnt involved with this case bit it was told to me by a person who said was. The intermittent no heat calls were caused by a ping pong ball inside the piping, courtesy of the disgruntled installer who was fired. On a call for heat, the ping pong ball would get stuck agains the open valve and the radiator had no neat. When the call for heat ended, the ping pong ball would travel to the next cold radiator and plug its supply pipe. I couldn't help but admire the deviousness of this idea. It would have driven me crazy. @ratio and @retiredguy had the closest answers. Remind me never to upset you two.

It never was meant to be a sealant it was always just to be a lubricant. Proper thearding of piping and fittings shoud be sufficent to seal from leaking.

Efficiency and maintenance are not the same. Also, the older I get the more everything seems colder. I think it's my body, not the radiator, that is losing it's ability to make enough heat. Of course, not enough heat just means it's time for discovery. Old pipes inside are like old people on the outside, the older we get the more wrinkled we become. And sometimes we leak.

One should look at co-generation to see what has been developped for heat recovery:

I was going to say, hx off of the coolant for the engine would be more effective.Yes... as long as it does not void the engine waranty.
The most common DHW homebuilt around here is a 4" piece of ABS lay it in the sun for the day, a bicycle pump to pressurize it. I was looking for something a bit more reliable.You will still need this if you don't move.

I cannot top these stories and I am happy to admit that. That being said, I think some will understand why we have always concentrated on heating. Yes, I have come home covered in black soot from head to toe (including eyes and nose). Yes, I have come home smelling like I was inside the Exxon refinery for days after being covered in #4 or #6 bunker C oil. Yes, I have come home wreaking of perfume after working in a fragrance factory for the day.
Many years ago I was taught the rules to be a plumber, I will mention them again for the uninformed. "Poop" flows downhill, don't bite your fingernails, and pay day is on Friday. The main reason I never became a plumber is, I bite my nails!
