Limited options for a toilet waste pipe in concrete
We are wrapping up some work on a house and installing the toilets. We had not really looked at it much since the plumber left after the concrete was set. These are slab on grade Construction so the sub slab Plumbing is long since set.
What we thought was the top of a 3-in pipe for the toilet drain was actually the top of a wye. It goes down to the left under the slab with the vent pulled off of it to the right.
The flared end of the wye goes from about a quarter of an inch into the concrete to an inch and a half over it. On top of the concrete is a half inch of Pergo engineered flooring. That means the end of the wye is 3/4 of an inch above the flooring.
That end was cut off so that it is flush with the flooring. That means we only have about 3/4 of an inch to glue to. It turns right after that because of what it is. Even with that 3/4 of an inch the flange is sitting up high because the bevel on the underside of the flange is hitting that fitting.
It is too high in holding the toilet up and there is really not enough to glue to. We need to cut another quarter inch off of that but that only leaves a half inch that we could glue to. Any ideas that do not involve removing the floor and cutting the concrete in a finished house?

@BHD_CT It could be the start of the cartridge assembly failing. Normal amp draw should be on the data label. I believe it is .74. If more than 1.5 x times that, then you could just change the cartridge 007-045RP.
If you want to go ECM with a 007e then you would have to change out the entire pump. It would be the same flange to flange dims so easy swap out. Unfortunately, you just can’t leave the old volute in and replace with the ECM motor assembly

EDR? Well always have done it this way with steam. And a proper heat loss calculation when sizing for hot water.
I do not want to tinker with these proven methods.

Is the model number you have compatible with the wifi controller?
Think of it like this. You have a television that has all the controls at the side of the screen and it did not come with a remote control. You need to make all the adjustments on the set itself (like in the 1960s)
You see a Universal Remote on Amazon and purchase it
When it arrives, you find that it will not operate your television. Then you realize your television does not have the receiver to accept remote control signals.
I would talk to the manufacturer (even in Australia) to see if your model number has the necessary receiver to accept the WiFi kit before purchasing it.
Maybe the WiFi signals spin the other way in the southern hemisphere... You know, like whirlpools do

Working on having him come out to take a look, since it was May when he put the boiler in, I had said let’s wait till fall to troubleshoot anything that might come up. I kinda dragged my feet reaching out because we don’t really use the attic much so it being cooler isn’t bothering us. When he was calculating the EDR for the boiler in the spring he did note that it was a huge radiator for the location and it was in a slightly odd location (off to the side of the window). He thought the original may have been replaced at some point with the big boy when the attic was converted into living space.
