What’s the purpose of a micro-studio? It may bring up additional requirements.

Building a MicroStudio with my spare room.... Maybe
Hi all,
I’ve got an empty bedroom that’s been sitting unused, and I’m planning to convert it into a private micro-studio by closing off the interior door and adding an exterior entrance. This room shares a wall with my existing bathroom, so I’m looking into adding a small shower, sink, and toilet along that shared wall.
I’ve handled plenty of DIY work over the years—everything from toilets and tile to drywall and flooring—so most of the construction is well within my skill set. That said, I’d love input on key considerations for a project like this, especially around plumbing layout and drainage, since that’s the only piece I haven’t tackled on this scale.
The good news: all the plumbing is already along the shared wall, and I’ll be doing the majority—if not all—of the work myself. Just looking for advice on potential challenges or things to plan for before I dive in.
Re: Riello pump over pressure no flow help
Can you drain the system down (with any automatic feed off) and get the pressure down?
I'm very suspicious of the gauge. 15 bar is around 220 psig — which is absurd. If your system really is at that pressure, the pressure relief valve should have opened long since, and it's a wonder that some pipe or joint somewhere hasn't gone boom…
Riello pump over pressure no flow help
Hi all, thanks for letting me join.
I have a problem with my Riello boiler, the unit will start up but not fire up, it tries to ignite and the cuts out, I fitted a pressure gauge and no matter where I have the adjuster the gauge max's out at the needle stop, so its running at over 15 bar if I disconnect the pressure outlet pf the pump I get no flow at all, the pump is primed and on my work bench with a header tank above the pump, I hear the solenoid operate and the terminals get 27 volts dc the coil read 112 ohms when tested off the pump
Why am I not getting any flow out the pump, I have had the pump apart today and can find nothing that would indicate a problem
Any suggestions would be grateful
Re: Spencer and Kewanee boilers info help
FWIW, I have a 4" thick 3 ring binder that was the book for the 1998 Service School for Service technicians.
It was a 4 day school at the factory in Kewanee. This was passed to me by a relative.
Glad to move it along, don't know if it has what you are looking for.
There are I & S pamphlets that are dated from pre zip code and much more.
Free to anyone who will pay postage.
Re: Which Wall Hung Boiler?
If heat only, why the 199? Its not the 199c combi, right? Have you done a heat loss calculation?

Re: Help Sizing A Multi-Zone Mini Split System - Minimum Capacity?
NO ONE makes a system that matches your Heat load / loss under all conditions. This is where the installing contractor is the most important.

Re: Help Sizing A Multi-Zone Mini Split System - Minimum Capacity?
Typically modulating heat pumps can go down to about 25% of capacity. So a 12K minimum output from a 3.5 ton unit sounds about right.
You're absolutely right that if you have a 9K head in this system, and it is the only head calling, something has to give. Different manufacturers have slightly different approaches, but that head is going to be full on, regardless of the actual load, and the extra capacity is somehow going to be shared among the other heads that aren't calling.
The practical limit to how many heads you can have on one compressor is when this behavior starts creating unacceptable comfort.
