Volunteer work party for a repiping job

We made it home yesterday (in one piece). Barely.
I really enjoyed meeting and getting to know all the guys that had a part in this. What a great bunch of guys! I can't remember when I had as much fun on a job and then knowing that we were able to help someone who truly needed it...thanks, gentlemen. You've given me the best Christmas present that I could ask for: the opportunity to give and have a great time doing it.Bob Boan

Awesome work by a great group of guys and the best Forum and community there is. Thanks for HH which hsve made many people’s lives warmer including mine. There is a good world out there and you are very lucky @MichelleLe1 to have been blessed with this.

Isn't that where all the "rule of thumb" installers end up? Might be why it's so hotYou can have it good, fast or cheap. Pick two1 -

I think, for prosperity, that we should conclude the thread with before and after shots. What a difference!
We are so busy, we often refer people here as a matter of course. Never expected something like this to happen though...
You guys were amazing. Wish we could have been there. But there's already too many angry people on this forum waiting for us to get to them...
Can't win!

Michelle sent me this:
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Everything is working great. It's nice to be able to leave the heat on when I'm not home and not have to worry about something going wrong.
I hope Santa is good to you today 😁Bob Boan

It's around that time again...anyone want to take the lead?

It would be cool to be able to help someone this year, unfortunately for me I wouldn't be able to go down to jersey where this person is located. I live in western MA, but I would be willing to donate some coin if this is something that everyone gets behind again.0 -

I’m in for a volunteer job but would have to be on a weekend and planned weeks ahead and I wouldn’t be able to take the lead since we’re so busy at the moment.0

If the timing works I'd make the drive up from Virginia and turn some wrenches, buy grub, and generally be helpful and/or stay out of the way, as necessary. I have some experience but I'm not in the trade.DIY'er ... ripped out a perfectly good forced-air furnace and replaced it with hot water & radiators.1
