    Things are really humming along.

Supplyhouse.com has come in BIG. And I mean BIG. They took an enormous bite out of the parts list needed and deserve a special recognition. So thanks to Raquel @ SupplyHouse and her team for working on this.

In addition, SupplyHouse has offered to waive all shipping fees for this. The process is to call in an order, whether it's $20 or $200, and tell them it's for the SteamIQ donation. They will box everything up and ship together to job site. They are also sending t shirts and some other cool swag for those who are helping.

I spoke to @EzzyT & @Ironman , the plan is to arrive Thursday night and start work Friday morning. Supplyhouse will ship everything Wednesday to arrive @MichelleLe1 house by Thursday.

Please take a look at the list and consider donating a line item to help this awesome event.

Yeah so far it's been an amazing show of support. Spoke to Paul from Winters and he's going to drop the gauge off along with some swag too.

Also, if anyone is planning on coming, can you send me a PM or email so I can get a headcount? We are trying to coordinate food etc and I want to make sure we have enough. Also for directions. Thx

@KC_Jones * update* ask for Raquel S. She has it all. When I called the CS rep I spoke with wasn't sure.
    1. Put stuff in your cart at supplyhouse.com.
    2. Save the cart. (link in bottom left)
    3. get the Cart ID number, bottom left of the cart page.
    4. Inform the CS rep the order is in regards to Steam IQ donation.
    5. They'll waive shipping, if applicable, and will have the shipping address.

When this is complete, will there be a video of the change out?
Perhaps time lapse shooting from tear out to skimming.

    This seems a good opportunity in several respects;
Good PR for all who help out.
Good PR for product suppliers who donate materials.
Good promotion for retaining and repairing of existing steam systems.
Good to produce a Utube showing how not to install steam piping and how to choose a reputable steam contractor.

And it all started with Heating Help.Com/the wall.
    Good PR there also. :)

I spoke to SupplyHouse.com I think the plan is for exactly this. Not finalized yet but I think they are going to have a couple people from their team onsite to do some video as part of their "Trade Life" series on YouTube. I just checked out a couple of their videos and they are WAY better than I was planning with my iPhone lol.

So @EzzyT & @Ironman I've hired a stylist to get you ready for your cameos!!

The parts are stacking up in my office, I'm looking forward to it.

    Oh yeah!! LOL

I think it's a great way for the contractors to get some screen time to a large audience. They had asked me if I was familiar with the Trade Life series and it didn't ring a bell. But then I watched the "Paying it forward" episode and immediately recognized the story of the driller, so I guess I had seen them.

Anyways it would be awesome if Ezzy and Bob get YouTube famous and their next job comes from someone who recognizes them from the SupplyHouse video.

Well, we got about a foot of snow here, and interstate 81 is shut down, but it looks like it should be cleared out in a couple of days.

I'm still planning on heading out early Thurday morning.

Well, just totally in awe of how much has happened in the last week or two.

Appears we are on track to have 100% of the parts needed, the awesome contractors have hotel rooms and we even have a breakfast & lunch sponsor from right here on Heating Help.

My office is full of boxes of shiny parts and cool swag to hand out.

    So thank you!

Again, if anyone is interested in stopping by to help, please send me an email:

    peter@steamiq.com

so I can send directions and get a head count. So far only 1 person has contacted me and know there are others who said they'd be by Saturday.

The shopping continues. Stopped by my local FW Webb branch and met with Nick Ottino. I was joking I needed a mask and a gun because I was robbing the place. So BIG thanks to FW Webb for your awesome support of this!

Been speaking to Bob Boan today as he's driving north, Ezzy is heading up later. We have a couple HH members showing up tomorrow.

I'll do my best. I have a time lapse setup to install first thing tomorrow. But I'll try and post up some progress shots as we go.

No promises though, Ezzy & Bob both said they're going to work me like a rented mule.
