A follow up … I installed the replacement cartridge and its quiet as can be! I will take the old one apart later, but I would guess that one of the seats failed. I guess that's why the sell these kits because nothing lasts forever, except for your marriage 😎

Those thermostats and relay were common place when I entered the field in 1968. Look how far we have come! They were so easy to trouble-shoot, wire, and repair/replace. Those were the simple days.

The whole blower assembly should be removable.

this is covered in "broken mount" but the motor may be mounted on resilient bushings that have rotted away and allowed the motor to move. especially if it was bouncing around in a truck.

they removed them
they cleaned them
They reinstalled them
get a hold of them and make them aware of the noise they have to deal with it

That is a sketchy location. What's in the yard in front of it? More or less level? I have a rather nice but exceedingly heavy 16 foot stepladder (one of those contraptions — Werner I think) which would do, but not if the ground wouldn't support it.
I'm cheap. Well, not cheap, but let's say the budget is limited… even so for that application I would find a place which rented man lifts and take it for a couple of days…

Unit shows no error codes. On stat or indoor or outdoor display. No error history. Unit starts runs for 30ish seconds. All motors, compressor, start. Pressures start to drop than outdoor display blinks like crazy. For 5-10 seconds says soft lockout on outdoor display. Than says standby. 3 minute delay and tries again

I prefer to get everything at the same place. Finding a deal for one or two items at one place and another deal at another place and so on… then needing to purchase everything else at another place is just time consuming. Get the best deal at a one stop local supplier is less expensive in the long run. I had better things to do with my time, like getting the actual work completed.
