Re: New Venting for 135-Unit Apartment Buildings
Unless the returns have a vent path above the doorway they will form a trap and stop venting.
Re: Is a cap a must?
Tapcons work good when used properly and in the correct applications.
I've seen a lot of guys use them very wrong and then say they suck.
I'd consider some stainless 1/4" Tapcons for that and don't overtighten them. I don't know where you're located but if your area gets very high winds I'd design accordingly.

Re: Sad day at work - wall mount toilet tank hole
Kind of surprised the plumbing codes don't ….have a service panel requirement.

Kinda surprised that the scheme using the F&Ts as main vents ever worked well at all… but your solution is the best!

Re: Is a cap a must?
If you don't have a cap or a screen, sooner or later you are going to have trouble. The other flues should be screened. If not, have it done.
Re: Central A/C refrigerant leak - 12 year old Lennox system
the drier can be installed inside near the air handler. That prevents the rusting.

Re: Just wondering
Yeah, that was my experience as well. Just bad workmanship. Bolts missing in the heat exchanger, labels falling off, bent cabinet pieces, etc.
When it was running right, the efficiency was very good though.

that’s not how stop leak works.
Personally stop leak is snake oil!
