Re: oops!!!!
Take a photo of the burner control to which the wires were attached… and post that. And then figure out where the other end of each wire is and what it attaches to and post that. Someone will figure it out ( @EdTheHeaterMan is a genius at that!)
Re: Maytag Refrigerator Ice Maker Frozen
Our house didn't even have a refrigerator when we bought it.
I was happy about that, actually.

Re: Bell & Gossett Circulator
The expansion tank is on the system side of the prv which is correct in itself. It should be positioned such that the circulator it pumping away from where it connects to the system.
Re: Professional opinions please
I would like to take full credit @Intplm. However this is the OP's drawing with some modifications. I find that using the original drawings from the OP (any OP) makes it easy for them to understand the minor changes that improve the design.
Re: Insulation for steam pipes in basement
1"wall fiberglass and PVC fitting covers. Buy the thumbtacks with the pvc covers. Thumbtacks have little barbs to hold them in place skip the tape it makes a mess.
Trick: put the thumbtacks in the PVC fitting before you put the fitting on the pipe
Re: Bell & Gossett Circulator
You could have just as easily set that unistrut on the floor in front of the basement wall as in the middle of the room.
Re: Insulation for steam pipes in basement
@dandub1960 with all respect I would rateher leave the pipe bare.
Re: Type K copper pipe
Not sure if anyone mentioned a tracer wire? Anytime we bury plastic pipe we zip tie a tracer wire to it.
