Re: Help with finding gas valve
@mattmia2 I apologize for hitting the disagree iconIt's a toggle. If you hit it again, it will go away. Try it out on my post. I get lots of frowny faces. A few more would be fun!

Re: Homeowners Versus Contractors
I know! They want professional work done correctly for the quoted price, the nerve!!dko said:The average customer doesn't care about any of this. You can take a loss and go out of business for all they care. They are special.
Re: Homeowners Versus Contractors
Nice but you should ask your brochure designer for a discount for that typo 😉

Re: Hydrolevel VXT
@ChrisJ From my conversations with you over the years, I am surprised you don't have a cot and sleeping bag next to the boiler...kinda like sleeping with your brand new baseball glove under your pillow!I did fall asleep while skimming one time many years ago late at night, like around midnight. But I don't think that counts.
Obviously, just kidding. I hope all is well with you and yours.

Re: Water Droplets on Window Sill
Now that I think about it, why are you relying on these insane tenants to properly install these kits?
Re: How to relocate the steam vent to the proper place
A good man is hard to find. A good man who knows steam systems is even rarer. But a good man who knows steam and is single… the rarest of them all! 😂😂😂EdTheHeaterMan said:So in this case, it would be better to have you for a husband than a plumber. 😆Is this a proposal?
Re: Payment expectation for multiple service visits to fix 1 problem
At least there are still some companies still around with a conscious.
Re: Vega Boiler with EZ Gas Pro
Hi Ed, what would be a good number to target on the CO? Definitely has room to go either way. We finally have snow and ice so we can back into the camp. Seems to have been running for the last three weeks according to interior temperatures and I have not seen a fault alert. I will put the meter on it again and try adding some more air to bring the CO down. Truly appreciate the help as I am on my own until late spring. Get a remote off the grid camp they said! It would be fun they said!EBEBRATT-Ed said:You're not that far off. I wouldn't do anything drastic. Just see if a little adjustment will bring the CO down. With the #s you have I would like to see the Co drop a little. Make sure the boiler is hot when testing a cold boiler will make more CO, Just like a pot of water on a gas stove does.

So in this case, it would be better to have you for a husband than a plumber. 😆
