Re: 2 out of 3 heating zones not working
Probably but not necessarily and less so with the higher resistance of the hydroair coil. Depending on how the coil is oriented in relation to the boiler it it possible to get flow through the coil by warmer water rising in to the coil from the boiler and cooler water sinking back to the boiler.

Re: Low water in sight glass & missing main vents (balancing issues)
no it’s not normal. Well it’s normal if the boiler hasn’t been skimmed to clean the oils out
here’s the same thing happening to my old boiler before I knew anything
Re: Low water in sight glass & missing main vents (balancing issues)
NO, where did I say that !!!??? The Equalizer and the Hartford loop is a mess and needs to be fixed !!! Follow the manufactures instructions.
Re: Main vent recommendation?
Make sure this test is run with the system well warmed up both times. Typically one Gorton #2 would be considered enough for that volume though.
Re: 2 out of 3 heating zones not working
Does the pressure go up if you pull the fast fill lever on the pressure reducing valve? A little suspect of that gauge and a lot suspect of the prv keeping the system filled it you bleed or purge.
The blower won't stay on because it is controlled by an aquastat on the outlet of the hydroair coil. When there is not airflow it gets hot enough to turn on the aquastat, then the blower turns on and cools it because there isn't enough flow through it, almost certainly because it is airbound. There is a small possibility that the circulator isn't working and there is enough gravity flow to heat the zone near the boiler.

Re: Cracked cast iron rad
there is no way that boiler built up enough pressure to break that radiator!
I agree it looks like a previous frozen weekened and finally let go

Re: Boiler readings don’t jive with the math
@HotRod What software is that you have in the screen shots? Caleffi's?

Re: 2 out of 3 heating zones not working
If the thermostat calls, the tab will not stay in the indent.
Also, manually opening that valve with the lever in the indent, will not make the end switch. So the circulator may not run. Or the boiler fire.

Re: Small DIY radiant bath heat
What temperature is the water heater kept at? You may not need the mixing device included in that pump block. Those are nice to mix down supply from a system running 180F
Heat Link and others sell basic HX isolation modules.
Adding a HX to your tank is not too hard either.
Tee into the drain valve on the WH and into the hot out. A stainless pump with a check valve inside.
On the radiant side, a pump, a pressure relief, and a means to fill and purge. You could adjust the WH pump rate to get a pretty accurate outlet temperature for the radiant.
Or add a mix valve bottom example, if you want exact radiant temperature or the HW tank runs hot 140 or above
If you use a plate HX on a water heater you need to leave a way to descale it occasionally.

Re: Inference about leaking heat
Be very careful about sealing or insulating around any lights which are ceiling mounted. They can get very hot it they are too tightly insulated or sealed around.
