Re: Override Control of Radiant Heating Zone?
Do all those loops go into the pool room as a single zone? If so, why do you need all the actuators? Seem the control would just fire the circulator?
Removing the actuators will open the various branched, the other manifold has flow setters that you could limit the gpm until you get the fix.

Re: Elevated CO on burner tune up
It's only usable on an IOS device for free. It's a FileMaker database file, so you would need to download FileMaker Go (free) on the app store first.
Then open file from dropbox link, then 'Share', then 'Send copy of file', then select FileMaker Go. You can put a shortcut on your home screen to open directly from there.
Send me a PM.
Here's my YouTube channel with instructions on how to put it on your IOS device, and how to use most of the modules.
You could use it on any desktop, but you have to purchase the FileMaker database program to run it. Not really worth it unless you want to modify the program.

Re: Plastic gas venting
PP isn't that much more money than PVC. And you have a locking ring vs primer/cement. You waste any cut pipe as it has a hub. Comes in 1ft, 2ft, 3ft, 6ft, 10ft lengths so measure lengths needed instead of buying all 10ft lengths like you would with PVC.

Re: The case of the non heating steam system, this Friday's case
Sorry everyone Had a routine medical test and they wouldn't let me have my cell. All is well. I thought for sure I would stump you on this. @ethicalpaul got it first. There was a steam pipe behind the thermostat that went to the attic. They kept it valved off before the boys moved there. Here is the link

@PeteA
If the new boiler can use 2" based on the footage and fittings used why not just cut the 3" flush with the wall and slide the 2" through it. Seal it with HT silicone.
