Re: Trying to sell my steam radiators... Any tips?
The first ones are plain Jane, steam only rads and not adaptable to a hot water system.
However, the last two wall hung ones are quite unique and should hold some interest for steam heads. They could be used with hot water systems also.
I would consider them to be rare and valuable to the right people.
Don't lose the wall hanging brackets
Re: Help: drain leak in slab under a radiant concrete overlay!
Bypass it and reroute. Let the old pipe in the slab "die on the vine." Mad Dog
Re: Help me calculate pressure drop!
do you need more output?
If not running at a lower firing rate and a more constant run will be most efficient
If you running condensing mode, a small firing rate in a large hx equals more condensation , higher efficiency
The combustion analyzer is important for dialing in an efficient burn

Re: Leaking valve on water tank
This ^^^^^. Before you go to the trouble of replacing it, which would be a bore, try fixing it — which might take a few minutes…
Re: Can someone explain this hydronic loop heating.
That added loop probably emits a small amount just from convection.
Unless we don't see another piping connection, I don't see it actually circulating through?

Re: Heat Pump Cooling Not Working
It looks like the 45uF part Capacitor is out of spec. +/- 6% However at 41.3 uF I would think it still would work.
Re: Can someone explain this hydronic loop heating.
I would use a manual bleeder. Less likely to leak in an area where they are not visible
Re: Help with Goodman GSXC16 Error code 04
Sounds like time to measure the voltage and current at the capacitors an calculate the capacitance to see if it is even close. 3 years seems about right for lowest bidder caps.
Re: What is causing this?
If it is glycol, that dark color often indicates the glycol has gone acidic It will attack the soft metals
I would flush the system, run a cleaner, then refill
If there are no pipes exposed to freezing, you may not need glycol
Those look like the older flow setters that you clamped a meter around to read. I don’t see a reason for check valves on the loops?
