-

also, I have the circs at medium speed
I'll go 0 it now
what about the rest of the numbers?0 -
Is the house comfortable now?. If so, whats the target number?0
-
I put shift to 0 and it made my set pt to 970
-
very comfortable
target was 94, but when i put the reset to 0, went up to 970 -
Gordy, did you notice, the temps are the same on the kitchen and the sensor0
-
Paul, help me, when you say target is that the set pt?0
-
I imagine, changing the shift to 0, the house will get a bit warmer0
-
Yes.....2nd number it's shooting for0
-
ok, thanks
since you tell me to go to 0, should i change something else to bring the set point down?0 -
What do you have the set point at?0
-
on the menu
set pt l 140
set pt h 800 -
Don't touch it.0
-
There is a set point 1, 2, or 3. Your is setpoint 1. those are the reset curve set points.0
-
yes, I'm in 10
-
it's going to get warm again, changing the set point to -1 which starts off at 95, then jumps to 970
-
you feel it was a wise move to set the circs to medium. I had them on low before0
-
when i changed the speed, the basement radiator got warm.
do you think i should go to high?0 -

Move the set point low to 135 and see where your target temp goes.0
-
ok, I'll be back0
-
set pt low 135
95/95
flame 23 but might rise0 -
Isn't that where you wanted to be?0
-
sounds good to me
what about the speed of the circs?0 -
Leave everything alone now.....Read the service manual, as many times as it takes to understand every parameter.0
-

Mark if it's in your budget a strap on thermometer on the return pipe to the boiler. Wondering what the delta t is your running..0
-
Difference between supply temp and return temp.0
-
There will be several things in the up coming season when the weather gets colder you could track and document. One example is when you get down to design temp -5 what your SWT is, modulation rate, and how long it is at that modulation..
Another is of course more interest to you fuel usage compared to the old boiler.0 -
-
there is not a doubt in my mind that my fuel will be less this season than any other winter i've lived here.
I don't know if you remember, but the boiler i had before this one, was 35 years old, and i think it was 220,000btu, now, I have new technology with a boiler only 8500 btu. It's got to be better
you mentioned a strap on thermometer, what dop they go for, and where would i get one?
and that's what they are called? strap on?0 -
I just went downstairs.
I felt the copper in and the copper out, they seem to be close to the same, and i have heard, this system works best, if the in is colder that the out. Is that correct what I am saying? putting a radiator in line, rather than in and out, 2 different pipes.
When i say inline, I mean run it thru the in, of the boiler0 -
Mark.......You're only sending 95* water out to the system. Is the boiler condensing?0
