    what's the flo check for? i don't see any evidence that they are making dhw with that boiler.

    I did see a bunch of #30 on their side on a unistrut cradle once.

    Old gravity system? Probably lots of expansion/water volume. As strange as it looks, easier to source #30's, then 60's or larger, when replace time comes. Lots of supply place, don't carry anything larger than #30.

    I do like the 1/2" copper supply to return bypass

    The ball valve handles removed to prevent balance tampering.

    0-30 psi ASME tanks are not required. Maybe that is why they used multiples of the cheaper tanks

    Only 1 circulator so no need for a flow check. "We put those on every job but I don't know why"

    That's the staged-admittance configuration. Charge each one a few lbs higher than the next & when one is full the next one takes over.

    4- # 30 Extrol= 10 gallon acceptance $252

    1- EX 90= 11.3 gallon acceptance $224.

    The # 30 are easy to find, not so much with the larger sizes

    Also the #30 and # 60 are the same 2.5 acceptance. You get a larger air space with the # 60

    I've hung double tanks in a pinch, but 4??? Looks like a Bunch of bananas 🍌 😆 . Mad Dog

    All that work and no valve w/drain to isolate the tanks. I don't think they do much service work.

    Also, no support for the tanks. Those are two of my pet peeves: isolation and support.

    Insulation would have been a good idea.

    8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

    Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab
