I am looking for work in one of the following areas. Please pass the word around.

    @Dan Foley

    If you have a position open in your company, then contact me. I don't know if I would be much use turning wrenches. I get pain in my shoulders at times when working on jobs and it slows me down a little. I do have a lot of industry knowledge though and am great at technical sales, design and troubleshooting.

    Otherwise just passing the word around is a big help. I enjoy travelling, tradeshows and doing presentations so I am thinking of something on the rep side of the business either working for a manufacturers rep or directly for a manufacturer.

    Thanks,

    John I am getting ready to retire Jan 2021. My business is for sale if you are interested. In case you don't remember I do training on Gas Heating and gas related appliances. We also do training on Mod/Cons and gas conversion burners along with combustion training. We are also the training facility for the state of RI for the limited natural gas and propane licenses.

    Tim,

    That sounds like a great opportunity but I don't have the funds available to me.

    I'm not real sure why someone would want to live in New York when a person can make a comfortable living in Texas, if they got their master plumbing and master HVAC license.

    What an odd statement this is.

    It's not surprising though.

    You can pretty much use it as a template.

    Exactly what I was thinking. I don't want to live in Texas any more than Texans want to live in New York I guess.

    Maybe Johnny NY and I LOVE NY with all its flaws. Aside from having a Farm upstate NY, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world. New York is the center of the world and we've got the best of everything. We live on the edge....and we like it that way. I'd love to visit Texas some day, but I'll finish my days in NY if I have my druthers. P.S. John R. Did you find a suitable job??? Mad Dog

    Jersey Tomatos... on white bread with mayo. I miss them here in SC. And no one makes soft pretzels like the Philadelphians.

    Since this is such an old post, I thought I'd hijack it to ask what you miss about your home town if you are living/working somewhere else now!

    Just Curious...How did the "Solar Panals" design work out ?? I do not see circs on the solar collector side? No circs from the HX to the tanks ? Maybe i am missing something such as a "Schwerkraft"/Gravity type solar system ..Are the Collectors installed below the tanks ?? :)

    That's what baffles me.
    These people drive excellent in the city but they leave there and all of a sudden are lost and can't drive just because they crossed the state line.

    You're nuts regarding the produce.  ;)
