remember i have new boiler old stock, I think 2011
the version on there probably needs to be updated. Or maybe it doesn't need it.
I can't imagine that my smart phone would work on this boiler0 -
It won't, but it would be a nice option wouldn't it?0
-
my knee is getting stronger0
-
I just checked, there is an apt for Lochinvar0
-
So how did you blow your knee out?0

what is con x us?0
-
The lochinvar app that lets you do exactly what I was saying, but your boiler needs the board to do so.0
-
oh, ok, no need for it
the app I saw, said Lochinvar0 -
do you think i am tuned better than before?
Any other suggestions, that i need to do?0 -
its suppose to drop to 3* tonight out here so see how things go.0
-
I have to stay up all night?
this is what you do with your customers?0 -
just checked the weather, only in the teens for tomorrow, no single digets tonight0

Your improving yes. if you get up in the morning, and inside temp rises, or falls inside you now know what to do. Remember do small adjustments now don't do big ones.0
-
radiator is very cold in basement, the supply is warm, return is cold
before I had heat from the radiator but not tuned.
going at 100%0 -
should i still keep the thermostat at a temperature that i would like?0
-
Remember your going from trying to warm the room in a short period of time to just injecting enough btus to off set the heat loss. Radiators won't feel as warm.0
-
sorry, higher than what I would like
I understand they will not feel as warm, but it will give me constant temp in my house0 -
do i want to keep the thermostat higher than i would want tonight?0
-
the thermometer in the kitchen is reading the outdoor temp at 25
but the boiler was reading 310 -
Yes for a few days. It's,suppose to warm up next week see what happens then. When it gets really cold you may have to tweak it a little more same process.
Really once set you could leave the thermostat at 85 it would not matter the ODR is controlling everything. The thermostat just acts,as a high limit if the room it's in gets a lot of sun, or say you had a wood burner.1 -
why is my radiator in the basement not heating up?0
-
Was it before?0
-
yes, when the boiler was not tuned, and running at 100 %
but it was comfortable in there. I did not have the radiator running before, and i moved it to the laundry room0 -
What did you change tonight besides parameters for ODR?0
-
At any outdoor temperature, your house requires a certain number of btus to maintain a temperature of say 70*. You're fine tuning the system to provide just enough heat. The t-stat would act like a hi-limit and shut the boiler down, and you don't want that. So, you just crank it up high and take it out of the picture. If the temp climbs above your comfort level, you adjust the outdoor curve. If it drops below, you adjust it.1
-
the house is comfortable now a little out of balance, but not terrible, but that radiator in the basement, I really was hoping it would work, it's my laundry room.
Above it, is where I am now, and it's very comfortable here
thanks Paul
i don't think I changed anything else, other than move the valve in the stat room0 -
Pump speed.0
-
114/114 system
55% flame
outside it says 32 ( I wonder if it's off)
upstairs it says 25
inside 720 -
pump speed is low,
your right, i did change that
it was on high before tonight
when it was on high, the system took longer to heat up
does that make sense?
but your right, i did change that, i forgot0 -

I am almost right above the downstairs radiator, it's very nice up here, but the radiator is cold downstairs.
should i change the pump speed to high?0 -
Your sensor keeps saying 32 it should be dropping. Did you do an ohm check when installed per install manual. Is it on the north side of the house where it does not get sun, or influenced by anything that could warm it?0
-
My tenant said it is very comfortable upstairs0
-
it is on the north side of house, nothing is by it to give it extra warmth
i don't remember giving it an ohms test, but if the manual said, I might have done it, just forgot0 -
the sensor must be bad, still reading 320
-
can i check the sensor with my multimeter from the inside, disconnect it from the boiler and then touch the 2 leads with the meter. this should work, right?0
