TigerLoop instalation for Bio Fuel 100 rating
Interested in knowing what peple have found out there when upgrading to a B100 rating.
I'm finding descrepences when sourcing braided hoses (36"). Suppiler has one number, manufacurer gives another. Catalog states one rating, and sales info states another. Then you can not find them...
Talk to most techs, you get, I use these, never had a problem...
BioFuel is going to be up to 50% by 2030, it dosen't seem anyone is gearing up for it... looking at the $$ service work when things crash maybe?
Thanks!

Pipe them in copper. Tiger loop instructions call for replacing the Tiger loop after 10 years. I don’t recall seeing an expiration date on the standard flexible supply house hoses.
But I stopped using them as they would crack at the connection when flexing them while servicing the pump strainer.
I either use Ruby Reds (7 year recommended replacement) or run them in copper, leave them connected and unbolt the pump when I need to swing open a boiler door.2 -
I Thought I invented the removing pump procedure back in the 1990s, before swing out doors were a thing. I needed to do that for replacing combustion chambers before unbolting the fire door.
Should of got the procedure patented back then. DOH! 🤷♂️.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

I haven't had any need to look yet, but my suppliers are offering B100 compliant. Whether or not they're in stock is another story. I'll jump off that bridge when I get to it.
I've never had any major issues with braided oil line.

You're supposed to add a 🤪 or something at the end to let us know you're kidding.

Thanks for the input!
Every vendor sends the same info, (I had it before I started this project). I asked numerous to physically go look at the label... guess they have reading problems, ha ha
Contacted Beckett, tech guy gave me another number, has to be right, he's the tech guy, right. 😁
Vendors would not even contact the guy, just, nope, no listing.... then they send the catalog page...
There are companies that make Bio100 compatible hose, Gates, and Parker are 2. Pretty sure the braided covering can be added.
This has been an education...
