Flame color on Williams gas wall heater / Flame burst

What could be causing this? This is from a 24 unit apartment, and this one heater has a more yellow flame:

The manual says straight up there's no adjustment for the combustion air mixture. Is that really true? Is it possible a flue issue could cause the flame color?0 -
An ultrasound humidifier will cause the flames to look odd. Because it mechanically atomizers the water, any minerals that are present end up in the air as well.0
