If CO was high that would be a real danger. PROVIDING the tech took the readings before the draft damper. Too many variables

Double the fire rate is an immediate danger. Wow! Please confirm the rotation of the meter

OK so my android doesn't like to play with microsoft & the video is too big of file. Anyway the 1/2 foot meter turns one total revolution every 12 seconds..........................

@GW Yes but the boiler from what I was told shouldn't get more than 140,000?

And it’s easier to move the video to YouTube and then paste the link, but I think you’re good, just need a good sweeping

@GW OK one last thing.....this meter should spin smoothly and not have any hesitations while the boiler runs? I did notice some hesitations as it turned.............

I don’t really like to rely on the 1/2 foot dial, maybe I’m too OCD who knows. But did you make a mistake on the 4 cu fit per minute? Your two numbers don’t align with each other. Maybe time for a tie breaker

    Well, THAT's a relief.

A good cleaning, proper burner tuning and combustion test, and you'll be in a lot better shape.

Still need to know if the boiler has the proper gas-type barometric with a blocked-flue switch on it. This is the swinging disc that is mounted in the smoke pipe. Post a pic of this so we can see.

Then you can work on getting your steam system optimized.

No blocked flue switch........don't scold me as I just learned this yesterday. The man that Tim M suggested is who I am going to get to tweak my system & make sure that the orifice, diffuser plate is correct ETC. I'm sure that he will mention that the flue is an issue............

    You thought that was bad..............
Well, I tried to link to some "Damn You Auto-Correct" videos but they displayed in such a way as would tarnish the reputation of this family-friendly site- check them out on YouTube.

Seems like when I first mentioned over firing it was an understatement. I hope the meter reading is wrong. 240k input would give a higher stack than that I would think but something is off
