    It's a bit risque...

but how about "No bad air from this Bean!"

Or how about starting a "Bean Benefit"?

Or "This Bean was grown on principle, not fertilizer"

    The qualities of a leader

(And I wish I could take credit for these words)

The leader…humble, self effacing, hard working, determined.... a servant with principals, character, enthusiasm, a proponent of robust but respectful debate, a visionary who magnetizes the passion of others to greater accomplishments...one who takes no credit for the success but when needed, stands up to take it on the chin ...one who continually walks with the troops in the field, embellishes ideas great and small...understand the world is changing all the time and outside change require change on the inside.

    I take it, you

    Like this fella.

Back to the top, with the BEAN there done that.

BTW, is Bean Irish? It would account for the apparent "Irish Dominance" of wethead posters here (are Forbes, Lawrence, Young (HB), Eatherton, Rohr, Swampster (Meself) Irish ? I've flown/travelled 2.5 million miles, and never been to beautiful Ireland.

    One o dese days!

Never BEAN there, or done that.....yet!

Back to the top we go.

had a distant relative come thru Londonderry(sp) on the way to the colonies. She was ousted from England in the early 1700's. We just don't know why, yet.

    Free the Bean

I say! If in fact friction, (that doesn't generate heat or sales) exists, then certainly dozens of companies would welcome Robert. I know a few :)

A change of venue may be the best move for our friend. The ball is clearly in Bean's court. Good luck Robert, and don't forget that Missouri offer!

    Got Bean?

Of all the slogans, this one's may favorite. Bean lives on! My motive to add to an already verrrrry long string of messages is to take this string over the top. Come on, guys n' gals, with this message, we're now at #99! Just one more is all we need to hit three digits. Is there yet another bidder?! Let's crack a hun'.

    To my good friend RB

I remember well at Jim Roche’s retirement party at Burnham some words that he said: “There are many people here at Burnham that quietly work in the background to keep things clicking along that you never hear about”. The leader that Robert is, I am sure that he left systems and people in place to keep things clicking at Danfoss. Robert, who I know as well as anyone in the industry, is a “starter”, and “starters” are always looking for the next thing to start. So he will do fine with his outlook and vision and the future looks bright.

    Mr. Bean

I have not yet met Mr. Bean and know him only through a few of his posts on the wall. Have never tried to debate him on any subject: Just tried to absorb the comprehensive information he put out.

Good luck to you Mr. Bean.

    The technique...

is all in the grunting and grating...take a large swig of Wild Turkey...stand on one leg, tighten your belt a few notches...tilt your head back 45 degrees and gurgle to the French National Anthem...if this doesn't work try the same technique in the frozen bird section at your local grocery store - if you do this on Thanks Giving you'll be guaranteed to get your bird courtesy of the local Sheriff.

    rb

now this lengthy string of post is begining to remind me of the "Song which never ends"...I'm working my way down the list to send my thanks to each of you "off the Wall"...otherwise it'll get downright silly! Your outpouring has peaked the interest of several magazines and a few interviews - if they stay off the cutting room floor will get published...so let me try to conclude this with a heart felt thanks and gratitude...as Roy Collver pointed out, I can't leave this industry...I love what I do and owe my career to all of you folks - so you'll find me in the middle of several business development projects by late July, early August...hope to see many of you at RPA.

    rb
