    Just a quick update.... Monday afternoon Hatterasguy came by.... made some adjustments, checked several things and my system is maintaining the set temp!! All in all.... no... it may not be as pretty as the work i have seen in some of the pics posted... but hey...I don't have to look at it... Just needs to do what I say!!!....Spirovent issue to be done at a later date!!! Thank you all for your help and to Hatterasguy who took the time to stop by and alleviate my concerns as well as get this thing to behave!!! I have a much broader knowledge of the system now and will continue to read the threads regarding it!! Have a Great Day!! Off to work..

    That's great!

    It's amazing the difference between a real pro and someone who's passing themself off as one.

    And, once again, we see the problem was not the appliance, but it's always the first thing that gets the blame.

    The sensor should go just after the Tee on the secondary loop. It needs to sense the supply temp in the secondary loop just after it's mixed with the boiler supply.

    I never use tech support in Londonderry, I always contact my rep who's as knowledgeable as anyone in this industry. It would be helpful to Bosch if this lack of support knowledge was passed up the line so they could address it. I'm sure they would want to improve where it's needed.

    @ant930,
    Would you call Bosch and ask to speak with a supervisor and tell them your experience. It would be good if they read everything in this thread too.

    Haha I'm I'm guy that pointed out the mystery valve....asking for more pics on the Spirovent and valve... if it was open or closed. Someone else asked about Supply sensor.

    That's why I pause when Heating Help pros insist on getting pictures when getting quotes~it took us a dozen or two posts to catch this anamoly with the funky piping job. Non pros simply can't grab these technical cues.

    But YES, it's very likey your supply temp will be lower than your boiler temp.

    Why do heating pros use handles and not their names?

    So you stay out of the lime light and let everyone else extract information creatively to build the story problem............and then bust through the finish line waving at the crowd. Your good :)

    Well I have same the problem as you but a different system I have navien. I've seen this issue with other oil to gas conversion. I'm not a pro or plumber people on this board really helpful and they know what they're talking about. It happened to my neighbor as well his oil system was set to 190. My and his mod con boiler hits 172 but sits at 160 for the majority of the day. Not enough baseboards to get these new boilers to modulate. Our house was a development and the oil supply company installed all the boilers in the neighborhood so they set them to run a little hotter to burn a little bit more fuel back then. So when it's 0° outside my downstairs cannot hit 70° the highest it can get is between 66 and 68. One thing I did that help was remove all the pipe insulation so the return couldn't drop as much as possible so the boiler can modulate and go up to the highest temperature possible. Hope your issue just outdoor reset and not enough baseboards. With the Navienwe had an option to run it as a regular boiler with a high temp board but that meant comfort for one or two days and no efficiencies for 100 days. So we just just suffer a little bit during the cold days.

    Great to know thank you I will have to see what my rwt is. How did you figure that navien swt max is 180 is it in the manual? Ncb states it can do 194.
