is it an ordinary thermal-magnetic breaker or does it also have a gfci or afci function? did it just start happening after previously working? if it is a 120v igniter or its wiring or control could be shorted. if it has a draft inducer, that or the control could also be shorted depending on when precisely it happens in the cycle.

I can't find a manual that is specifically for the MGB 150HD, the HD is not listed, this wiring diagram is from a MGB 150K.

Anyway if they are similar I'd be looking at the circulator(s). It looks like you can easily disconnect them and see if the overload goes away. Also inspect for crushed or otherwise compromised wiring.

Also this is a bit confusing " pilot is on but as soom as the ignition goes on ", does it have a standing plot lit all the time or is there an ignition system that lights the pilot. If the ignition is used to light the pilot how can the pilot be on ?

Older standing pilot version MGB150, may need a screw driver and a bit more caution to disconnect the circulator wires. I'd still suspect the circulator or damaged wires.

And note that there is no guarantee that the problem is in the boiler. First thing to do is to turn the boiler off with the emergency switch and try the breaker…

Just to cover more possibilities, it could just be a soft circuit breaker and nothing actually wrong with your boiler equipment.

Are there other loads on that branch circuit ?
