A question for the pros: which refrigerant leak detector that’s rated for A2L do you think is best? In other words, which would you buy?

I have the H10, but IDK if it’s rated for A2L.

    most refrigerant leak detectors use a heater of some type. You Do NOT want to use them on A2L gas.
    there are several on the market. Give it time

    Well you scared me so I had to go look. My company supplied Field Piece DR58 says all refrigerants and blends including HFO's, which is A2L. I just don't know if I'd recommend it.

    my guess would be that if they are potential ignition sources they have had to have had construction that prevents propagation of the flame for decades in case they suck up air gas or air gasoline mixes that are in flammable concentrations.

    I don't have one yet but the acoustic leak detectors would be my choice. They detect any leak, no heat source, but are kinda expensive.
