Looking for steam Boiler Replacement - Long Island (Suffolk County)

Options

Hello - I have 2 oil steam heat boilers (Weil-McLain SGO 5 and Weil-McLain SGO 7) that I want to replace this summer. We want to replace with the same make and model. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone on Long Island who is knowledgeable about steam heat and can install?

@lovebug11768 , is there a specific reason you're looking for the same boilers? Can you post pics?

If you're thinking just an easy swap out while retaining all existing piping, you could be seriously deceiving yourself. There are numerous steam installations that aren't piped even close to manufactures specs. Especially on the Island. Let's see what there now.

    That's a lot of EDR

    Where is this house?

Total EDR of all the radiators?

If you're staying with oil, I'd go with the Burnham MegaSteam boiler. It's somewhat more efficient, is easier to maintain and has the best warranty in the business.

    That’s some horrible flue pipe.

In addition to making sure the current boilers match the connected edr, make sure the returns under the floor aren't leaking.
