EK1 venting question
We're researching the EK1 as an option for a new boiler.
I have an existing ~30 foot 7 inch double walled SS vertical flue with no elbows.
Can a 4 inch flue be inserted through the existing 7 inch flue and what would you recommend?
Thanks,

Our ek-1 frontier uses a 5 inch flue connector to the chimney. Which boiler are you thinking of useing?

Looking at the ek-1 system 2000…. sorry I meant 5" flue.

That will take a 5 in chimney liner and 5 in from the boiler to the liner. Use an increaser to step up from the 4 inch flue collar at the boiler to the 5 inch.

You’re fine, if properly installed, emphasis on 'properly' as per the manual. Which should include cleaning the existing and a Level II inspection.

then pull a new 5”
