Good old boy efficiency (burner limits)
Maintained by his uncle. He called to schedule a cleaning because his domestic hot water temperature wasn't warm enough. It did have a brand new smoke pipe though, he said it's the third one that his uncle has installed since he's been in the house.

It is obvious that @Robert_H is asking for the proper way to fix this insufficient hot water problem.
Duct Tape and a Sharpie would be my suggestion.
