Rust on Brand New Burnham Boiler

Options
I had a brand new Burnham Boiler installed a few weeks ago.  Didn’t think to inspect the underside of the boiler during the install, but recently noticed a huge amount of rust underneath it.

Based on the photos below, should I be concerned?  Burnham said it’s probably just surface rust, no big deal.  As a non-expert, it seems very concerning.

Terrifying as the homeowner.  Should I get it on “file” with Burnham somehow or they just going to toss the photos if I send them their way?

    Just surface rust. Perfectly normal.

There is no need to worry about this, it is entirely normal and insignificant. Cast-iron is tough stuff.

Keep in mind..the cast Iron is very thick. Go get some spiked eggnog or Coquito and Hug the Grandkids!  Mad Dog 🐕

Don’t worry, it’s going to rot from the inside out 😅

Completely normal. Scrub a Cast Iron pan and put it on the counter to air dry without drying it and it will look just like the boiler.
