    @mattmia2 the unit has an attached honeywell PA404A/B Pressuretrol controller - yet seems like a different language being spoken in how that is to be configured...

    The right model vaporstat can be set to control the pressure to keep it under 1 psig or even 1/2 psig.

    You'll get an idea of how it is working regarding the sizing issue…if you find it is cycling a lot during a call for heat, ensure your main venting is good, and minimize any setback (I'd say no more than 3 degrees). Steam works better with minimal setback anyway.

    Paul,

    While I admit I cheat in several ways, my steam system has no issues with a 10 degree setback.
    I'd tend to say as far as efficiency, it probably does better with a large setback than maintaining temperature. But I leave it on 1 temperature because we're all awake / home at different times.

    Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.
