You'll get an idea of how it is working regarding the sizing issue…if you find it is cycling a lot during a call for heat, ensure your main venting is good, and minimize any setback (I'd say no more than 3 degrees). Steam works better with minimal setback anyway.

While I admit I cheat in several ways, my steam system has no issues with a 10 degree setback.
I'd tend to say as far as efficiency, it probably does better with a large setback than maintaining temperature.
