    I love the description of that super with the sidewalk. And supers in general. Seems to me the majority of them are well meaning, much maligned, operating on a shoe string budget, and trying to keep ahead of the catastrophes. I can relate!

    Dan's stories are always so interesting, human nature being what it is. I am amazed sometimes with the lack of communication between manager/owners and the front line people who actually do the work.. A new steam boiler for an apartment building has to be a large capital expenditure. If the boiler only lasted a short period of time I would be asking a lot of questions.
