Radiant Heat - Onix Tubing - brand new Boiler - nothing works -- HELP!!

I'm a homeowner in NJ. I have whole home radiant heat. My house is about 18 years old.
- tubing is onix watts heatway
System was breaking down so my HVAC service provider suggested i change out my cast iron boiler for an energy efficient Weil McLane boiler (399) in 2017
- While replacing the boiler they tried to flush out the tubes and found lots of dark sludge
- since then, the radiant heating has begun breaking down in various zones,
- HVAC provider believes that it's a result of sludge buildup in the Onix tubes restricting flow of water
- hard to confirm that this is the case (thoughts?). Might it be just be a combination of non-functioning mixing valves and pumps? I'm not an expert
- I no longer have heat in 1/3 of house
- Separately a new problem has emerged over the past few weeks: my fancy new boiler keeps on shutting off which impacts the heat in the rest of my home as well as my hot water. Obviously a major problem.
I'm trying to figure out if these events are related and how to resolve.
Any suggestions? What should I do?!?

Post some pictures of the system.
Tubing will need to be power flushed and cleaned.

A Weil-Mclain 399 boiler? How big is the house?? Did they add any inhibitor to the system? Weil actually gives you Sentinel chemicals to add to the boiler....

My understanding is that high temps and poor water chemistry greatly accelerates the deterioration of the onix.
It sure sounds like both the tubing (or manifolds) as well as the boiler is plugged up.
How is the tubing installed? What water temps are you running? How is your local water?
Get someone out that can attempt to power purge your heat loops and boiler.

That's a lot of tubing... If they did not flush out the system & left in the older circ pumps I am sure there is sludge/ corrosion in the system. Needs a Power-flush, a good cleaner in , magnetic separation and a good inhibitor. Stainless steel/ bronze circulators would also be a good idea too...
System may need a couple good flush outs.

Those mixing valves are probably the first to clog. They really should not be needed in all radiant house. The boiler will run more efficiently and the home will be more comfortable if they were removed and the boiler ran on outdoor reset."If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough"

Looks like someone sold a boiler but didn't make obvious corrections.

So I checked out the system today.
The boiler is very much way oversized and the mechanical room piping along with the manifolds and control strategy needs to redone.
We will make an attempt on power flushing the system with Adey or Fernox system cleaners and flush cart. Seeing how that goes we will take the next steps on the replacement of all the manifolds and mechanical room piping along with a buffer tank.

It was a challenge, had to power flush the all the tubing, distribution piping and mechanical room piping a few times.
We also ripped out and replace all 10 manifold stations.
The system will require powerflushing maintenance every couple of years.1 -

I am starting to see more and more of this garden Hose gumming up systems here.
How did the water look when you power flushed?
