Comfort Aire Mini Split

Have A COMFORT AIRE MINI SPLIT air conditioner.
Operation indicator light flashes rapidly. Unit won’t respond to remote. Reset breaker and unit will respond to remote and run for 1 minute, then shuts off and operation indicator light flashes again. Unit is 5 yrs old.
I'd like to try and fix this myself before I call In the troops. Can somebody help me troubleshoot this?

    Check the manual or Google for flash codes.

    Check air filter, check to see if fans and compressors run when it starts. Anything more than that you need a service tech

    Need more info. IS it still heating at all? IS the outdoor unit running? IS outdoor unit defrosting? Fan running, covered in ice? Need ot check full codes.
