Can I use Taco 400-4 1/8-Inch-NPT Float Air Hy-Vent on top the return on a steam system. When I put steam vent like Gorton on the return water came out. I changed it to this taco and no water comes out. When it comes on air comes out and then when the return fills with water its shuts.

    You don't vent the wet return of a steam system. The vent belongs at the end of the steam main or on the dry return.

    I did both I see that the wet return goes faster

    AS was said, you don't vent a wet return.
