Very old well kept mansion full of mouat vapor traps, out of the 50 or so 2 radiators not heating but more importantly, contractor tiled one bathroom and lost the trap to that locations radiator.been on here reading some on these items, big question is, anyone have one of these laying around or, I have read that radiator may work wo the trap or even read someone made a restrictor out of a drilled penny. Also I understand the incoming steam supply valve on the radiator is a special type, please enlighten me on these very old items, thanks, Lou

Supply valve can be replaced by a Mepco SWRF-C regulating valve. I'd think a regular trap would work as well. With the regulator set up, it'd hardly ever close.
