To be honest I'm disappointed @Jamie Hall never had one.

The Lake Camp we stayed for the Month of August for the Saratoga Meet had one just like that. A huge cast iron Pot Belly stove heated the whole place. Ahhh...the Nostalgia....Cool find Foley. Mad Dog
The fridge you posted is a 1935 GE CG Ball Top. Some call it a globe top.
It's the same scotch-yoke compressor as a CK Monitor Top and GE actually called these a Monitor Top.
The condenser is the top of the cabinet, you can see the tubes in it.

You would be correct. This is a historic home. It is the Woodrow Wilson home on S St. in DC. It was restored to the time period when he lived there after his presidency.

Are they gonna rip out the steam?
Frank, all options are being explored. The two-pipe steam system needs work. The building does not presently have AC.
