in Gas Heating

Replaced my PCB last night and the unit was working, woke up this morning and it’s not kicking over. No error codes, but I don’t hear the gas pumping in and there’s no clicks for it to try and light.

When I restart the system all the lights come on and stay on for about a minute. When I turn the water on the water light turns green.

I’m so burnt out with this unit, it’s always something.

    Much more likely to be a bad switch, problem connector, problem wire, bad ground than the board — particularly if you already replaced the board.

    Yes, they can be extremely frustrating. Surprised that you could find a part as they no longer support that model. eBay?

    Baxi support is pretty good. Give them a call on Monday. Hopefully, you can shower at a friend’s.

    It could be that it’s not sensing flow. Have you checked the inlet filter. When was the last time that the heat exchanger was cleaned?

    I actually found an almost new unit from a house that was being torn down, I have spares of everything now.

    I might just find a professional to install this second unit.

    Not recommended. Buy one of their newer boilers or some other reliable brand. Save yourself a lot of grief.
