    As it should be? I'd prefer it if 76 year old people didn't have to beg from their neighbors for heat, toilet paper and food.

    A very nice story. Thank you for sharing.

    It is such a shame that the elderly and others should struggle this way.
    It's so nice that all of those people came to his aid.

    I don't think he was begging. I think good people saw a need and rose up together to help, expecting nothing in return, and I like that a lot.

    It's definitely a good story from the idea that people helped a person. But I see it as a heartbreaking failure that this man didn't have heat, or food, or toilet paper.

    I get your point. Nobody should be in that situation. But the way I read it, he didn't beg for anything. All he did was accept gifts from the heart.
