Another Steamer

We ripped out this oversized Weil McLain SGO-5 and installed a SGO-4.
We’ll be back to replace all the wet return piping upgrade mains and radiator venting.

    thats a unique mixing valve with all the connections off set like that.

    Thanks gentlemen. @AMservices the mixing valve is a Caleffi Angle with checks in it.

    Very nice! You have alot of nice installs... Love how you pre fab steam headers! Why the water meter over auto feeder with reader? And why a filter over feeding from hot domestic side?

    that panelboard appears to be a work in progress

    The water meter and water conditioner are definitely the better way to go about it

    As always it’s always a pleasure to spin w Ezzy and Fred , no nonsense just serious straight forward working some thing that’s getting rare these days . Always a fine finished product w nothing left to chance true professionals who care about what they do and how it gets done with no cutting corners ,truely a pleasure to work with as it’s nice to work with some one who walks the walk and talks the talk and can spin usually all those things hardly ever all happen at once but when working w these guys there’s never any comprises or bs and the Customers gets some thing few can delivery the right job .     What is the copper coil (about 3" in diameter) on the insert coil lines for water heating?
    I have seen it somewhere else but do not recall the purpose.
    Was it for expansion or water hammer?
