Thread Cookies Working ?

Anyone else having issues with thread unread messages not counting,'or counting down as you read multi page threads ?
or after reading new, previously unread messages, them not shading out?
and if you read them again, it's from post one, again ?
or is it just me ?

I've noticed it too, but it seems to be rather erratic. I dare say that @Erin Holohan Haskell and Co. are working on it.

In addition to that, I have noticed many people posting in the wrong category.....so many using geothermal when they obviously have a steam boiler, they mention it in their first post.

Maybe some guidelines for first posters.....if in doubt go to the main wall.
Also just one posting in a single category would be good advice.
Several have started the same posting in various categories.
They get lost and little attention. IMO

It’s important to note your device, operating system and browser when reporting web site issues. Helps when making a diagnosis.
Never noticed that problem either on PC, Windows 7, Chrome, or on IPad.
I have noticed recently when you type and hit return, the site adds another blank line to your post.
