That's a great looking combo!
I do have a main vent "No 5, Hoffman Quick Vent Float Air Valve" same shape as yours but larger, about 6.5" tall, with 3/8" bottom connections. Pat date of Sept 1,1914.
I upgraded to a 75 and took it off a 1922 coal burning system. I can barely blow thru it when upright.
I looked in Dan's book to see how "Quick" it was compared to a G2 or B&J BM.....but it is not listed.
I was always impressed by the durable chrome plating for something that would always be hidden in the basement.0 -
Have one left. Has another that was painted and the dip tube cut off so I tossed it. Didn’t seal anymore either.
Other one works great. Nice super slow vent for the small entryway radiator I have it on.0
