Thinking that now might be a good time to start that long delayed pipe insulation project. Is there a supplier that is more affordable, better quality than what the big home centers sell?

    I agree with buyinsulationproducts.com

    Also, do not insulate in the summer.

    Cold, dry skin + fiberglass = happy
    Hot, wet sweaty skin + fiberglass = AWFUL, PAINFUL, MISERY!

    Insulate in the winter. Even if the pipes are hot.

    Or at least the fall...…...

    Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

    and insulate the fittings too. Otherwise it hurts the eyeballs. :)
