    Did that Peerless have 2-inch steam outlets, or was this the usual you-can't-fix-stupid case where they were bushed down to 2-inch?

    Pretty sure that was a Peerless 61/62 that has only 2 inch outlets.... the twin vent outlets and coil plate on the end give it away. So the header was probably just fine.... maybe a little low.
