Father and Son VS Son and EzzyT!

Coming this December 1st, 4 heavyweights will battle it out in a steam main completion competition. For the front side main we have Dennis Sr. And Dennis Jr. connecting (3) radiator runouts. For the back side main we have Danny and EzzyT connecting (6) radiator runouts. While the odds may be stacked against us, we’re up for the challenge. It’s a major overhaul of a 2-pipe air vent system. Place your bets!

Well it wasn’t much of a competition...as my brother and I worked until 1am last night...and my father (the boss) showed up at 10am today...but EzzyT sure came ready to play! Together (mostly EzzyT) we were able to nearly complete both mains, less 3 runouts. We also made a nice little stock room for ourselves. Next week we continue with the mains/wet returns, new boiler, upgraded radiator/main vents.2

My opinion (strictly non-professional of course) is that all of you NJ boys are lights-out good!

Connected all the runouts less 1 and all the returns less 1. We’ll start piping the boiler tomorrow. Also found an interesting marking on one of the unions1

That union has been there a long time. Been quite a while since anyone has used that as a symbol for good luckYou can have it good, fast or cheap. Pick two0

Didn't Bryant use that in the early 30's?
There are CW and CCW designs.
Have seen this as part of architecture in very old buildings in India, and also in 1920-30's Chicago apartment buildings.0 -
@JUGHNE The town of Hull had them imbedded in the floor tiles of city hall. That building was built in the 20's and it took until the 90's for someone to call them on it, it cost them money that could have been used for more pressing issues.

Massachusetts Town Votes To Remove Indian Swastikas
Reuters
Published: January 14, 1990
HULL, Mass., Jan. 13— Officials of this seaside community near Boston have decided to remove a floor whose tiles have American Indian swastikas inlaid in them. The floor was laid in Town Hall 66 years ago, before the Nazis adopted the ancient mystic emblem.
Selectmen voted Wednesday night to carpet over the mosaic floor after protests from the Jewish Defense League. It will eventually be altered to eliminate the swastikas.
For American Indians, the swastika is an emblem of peace and good luck. Nazi Germany saw to it that the crooked cross was associated with virulent anti-Semitism and the deaths of six million Jews.
Hull, a coastal community about eight miles from downtown Boston, is home to about 1,000 Jews, town officials said. The inlaid floor was first criticized six years ago by a local newspaper columnist who is Jewish.

Hello, That was a Crane Company logo. I've got a catalog from the 1920's with it.

There are also good luck swastikas on some homes in NJ.
