New Weil McLain Steam boiler in 100 yr old home

The real sad part is in most cases to pipe these boilers properly wouldn't require any additional labor or material.
The problem is .......they can't or won't read.
I admit even myself after doing this for 45 years I don't really feel like reading the installation manual. I have learned to be able to pick through them fairly quickly looking for what I need to know.
But really, what I prefer to do if possible is get the install manual ahead of time and read it the night before I start the job0 -
Funny thing is Weil-McLain offers near boiler piping kits to pipe per their manual.EBEBRATT-Ed said:The real sad part is in most cases to pipe these boilers properly wouldn't require any additional labor or material.

I cannot force people to spend money, I can only suggest how to spend it wisely.......0 -
I wonder if the cost of those kits is worth the labor savings?0

You can literally apply that to everything in life.Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

That's a re-branded Dunkirk, and as usual they reduced the 2-1/2" steam tapping to 2". Once again, someone couldn't bother to read the freakin' manual. All Steamed Up, Inc.
