    My wife returned to college in 1979 at the age of nearly 30.

    She brought her first calculator, a TI-??, and was showing it off in genetics class.

    The 20 something kid next to her asked how she got thru organic chemistry without one. She then showed him her round slide rule that she had since high school and got her thru that class.

    He certainly was confused at that point.

    For me the most difficult part of the slide rule usage was locating the decimal point in the answer. Being able to do rough "rounding" in your head would help in that.

    (probably a lost art today as even the times tables are almost not taught)

    Shouldn't the circulator be pumping away. The pump as installed is located for zone valve control not pump control, see documentation.
