Low boiler drain
This boiler drain is about an inch off the floor. There is no sump in the basement or any place to drain in the basement and the floor is about 5 ft below grade. I can't really just drain it on the floor because there's a lot of stuff stored in the basement although it's a pretty beat up concrete floor lot of it's dirt at this point.
I can't really get a pan under there with any size. I was thinkingI was thinking of draining into a shallow pan and using some type of scavenger pump or something.
I'm certain I'm not the first person to deal with this
so I'll take any recommendations.
Thanks!

Hook a short length of garden hose or a washing machine supply hose to it and into a bucket

looks suspiciously like a hose bibb thread on that… so hook a hose to it as @ethicalpaul said. And if you need to get the water somewhere else, hook a longer hose on it and maybe even a little pump, such as might be hooked into a drill…

" Low boiler drain "
The boiler drain would be on the boiler. That drain (in the picture) is to flush junk out of the short wet return. If the boiler's water level is above the Hartford loop the water and junk should drain into a low pan. If you want to flush it further put the connected hose into a bucket, as long as the boiler's water level is higher than the bucket and the Hartford loop water will flow.
Looks like the Blue PEX may be boiler water feed, so every time you add water to the boiler some of the rust and junk in the wet return may be pushed into the boiler.

OMG they had pex shark bit to the hot water coil adapters. Fortunately the young man that owns it trusts me and lets me do whatever I tell him needs to be done. I choose my battles but I'm chipping away at it.

oh, that makes sense, I can just push the water level back up above the bucket level with the water feed. "ding" light bulb on.
